Since its inception in 1997, Maggie Sottero has always been defined as “classic.” This is something we’ve come to love about and expect from the brand—and it’s no wonder, when you consider the company’s legacy-rich history. The result of five generations of passionate designers, Maggie Sottero is something that was born out of one family’s dedication to artistic, creative, and imagined couture. Lesley Margaret Webster assumed her great-grandmother’s name (an homage to that rich family legacy!) when she brought her label to life; since then, the designer has catered to the romantic and ethereal bride whose vision is decidedly classic.

The label’s most recent bridal collection embodies the Maggie Sottero signature look perfectly—with a bit of a twist. The designer sent plenty of old-Hollywood-inspired creationsdown the runway at Spring 2019 Bridal Fashion Week, which celebrated the female form. One particular standout was the “Brinkley,” a fit-and-flare trumpet wedding dress that was all about embracing a woman’s curves. “Every bride should have a red-carpet moment, and Brinkley was made for glamour,” said Webster, of her creation. “I love every detail on this dress, but my favorite would have to be its curve-hugging construction—you’ll feel like magic the moment you put it on.”

If you’re envisioning a traditional, glamourous affair, you’ll likely feel like magic in all of these dramatic-meets-classic designs—but you’ll simply have to see for yourself. Click through to see the complete Spring 2019 Maggie Sottero wedding dress collection, fresh off New York City’s runways.
